Nyo was a young Force-sensitive Human male from Morado.

BiographyEdit

While gambling with his sole credit to raise money to buy a lightsaber (despite the fact that lightsabers were illegal under Imperial law), Nyo met gambler Kinnin Vo-Shay. Vo-Shay helped Nyo win 200,000 credits in a gambling match, which Nyo and Vo-Shay took to Nar Shaddaa to buy a lightsaber off the black market.

However, when they arrived, the lightsaber had already been sold to Doune, the Herglic whom Vo-Shay had defeated at gambling on Morado. Doune challenged Vo-Shay to a game of sabacc for the lightsaber. Vo-Shay intentionally lost to Doune, and gave him an amulet Vo-Shay wore around his neck that was allegedly the source of Vo-Shay's luck. Now considering himself to have replaced Vo-Shay as the galaxy's greatest gambler, Doune had no further use for the lightsaber and gave it to Nyo. Vo-Shay then introduced Nyo to the spirit of the Jedi Aryzah, who agreed to train Nyo in the ways of the Force.
