OS-72-10 was the designation given to the male TIE pilot of Obsidian 10, an Imperial TIE/LN starfighter assigned to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Thunderflare. A member of Obsidian Squadron during the Galactic Civil War, OS-72-10 had previously served aboard the Star Destroyer Conquest and had been stationed on the Star Dreadnought Executor. During the construction of the second Death Star battlestation, he was recalled to defend the station's construction site in the Endor system. OS-72-10 was not interested in being promoted; he had no desire to be removed from the pilot's seat.
A male TIE pilot in the service of the Galactic Empire's Obsidian Squadron, the pilot designated OS-72-10 flew the TIE/LN starfighter Obsidian 10. OS-72-10 had served aboard such Imperial warships as the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Conquest and the Star Dreadnought Executor, the latter of which was the flagship of the Sith Lord Darth Vader's Death Squadron. By 4 ABY, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Obsidian 10 was stationed aboard the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Thunderflare. While attached to the warship, OS-72-10 was recalled to defend the second Death Star battlestation during its construction in the Endor system.

OS-72-10 was first introduced in the Special Edition Limited expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, released in November of 1998. His TIE Fighter, Obsidian 10, later received its own card in the July 2000 Death Star II Limited set. In 2008, OS-72-10 received an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, although no new information on him was released.
