OWO-3[3] was a battle droid who served as a gunner aboard the Trade Federation flagship, the modified Lucrehulk-class LH-3210 cargo freighter Saak'ak.[1] In the year 32 BBY,[4] shortly before the Invasion of Naboo,[1] Chief Gunner Jull Dremon ordered it to destroy the Republic Diplomatic Corps Consular-class space cruiser Radiant VII,[3] which the droid carried out with accuracy.[1]

OWO-3 was first mentioned, albeit unidentified, in the Databank entry for Antidar Williams on StarWars.com, which was developed by Hyperspace member[1] Ian Tapley.[5] The droid was first identified in The Devious Neimoidians Revealed, a 2014 article published in Star Wars Insider 147.[3]
