[edit] Biography

Oberk was originally from the planet Ukio and was known as a show off. He was transferred to the scout troopers when it was discovered he could pilot a 74-Z speeder bike. He was the one who held Leia Organa at pistol-point and after he ordered his comrade to get his bike ready, Wicket W. Warrick hit Oberk in the ankle with his spear. Oberk looked down and exclaimed, "What the...!" before his head met the log Leia swung at him, knocking the eager Oberk out.

[edit] Behind the scenes

In Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (novel), in place of Oberk, Leia Organa Solo is only held at gunpoint by a single scout trooper, who is described as yelping in pain and hopping up and down when he is poked by Wicket Wystri Warrick's spear, and is killed when Leia shoots him with his own blaster. Oberk first appeared in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi portrayed by an unidentified extra. He was given a name and a brief backstory in the Endor Limited edition of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game.
