The Obroa-skai information raid was a brief skirmish between forces of the Galactic Empire and the New Republic. Imperial scout ships, directed by Grand Admiral Thrawn conducted an information raid on Obroa-skai's extensive library. An Elomin task force, patrolling the system as part of the New Republic's diplomatic efforts to bring Obroa-skai into the Republic, gave chase and followed the scouts into hyperspace.
