The Occupation of Karthakk was a conflict during and before the Separatist Crisis. The conflict began in 32 BBY, when the Trade Federation began testing its war vehicles on the system's pirates, and came to a head in 22 BBY when the Federation was assisted by Captain Cavik Toth.
