History
During the Clone Wars, the Odik system served as headquarters of the Fifth Deep Core Army, the Sector Army assigned to the defense of the Deep Core. It later became the capital of Grand Moff Gann's Sector 5.[3]
After the Declaration of a New Order, the planet became a top-secret detention ward where Palpatine imprisoned his political enemies from the Old Republic.[2]
