- "Announce yourself first when you come into my office."
- ―Jagged Fel, after Jaina Solo bursts into his office
The Offices of the Imperial Head of State, also known as the Residence and Quarters of the Galactic Empire Head of State, were a series of luxuriously-decorated offices used by Imperial Head of State Jagged Fel during his stays on Coruscant, the capital planet of the Galactic Alliance. He used the offices for work, as well as to relax from the pressures of politics.
Description
The Offices of the Imperial Head of State,[1] also known as the Quarters of the Galactic Empire Head of State or the Residence of the Galactic Empire Head of State,[2] were located in the Galactic Empire Embassy Complex on Coruscant, the capital planet of the Galactic Alliance. The offices were furnished with dark, expensive, luxurious items, including a nerf-hide chair, a vidscreen,[1] and a black leather sofa. Various personal aides for Jagged Fel, the Imperial Head of State in 44 ABY, were stationed in the outer offices in case he needed them.[2]
History
- "Jedi Solo to see you."
"Tell her that I expected her six seconds ago. Then let her in." - ―The Head of State's secretary and Jagged Fel
The Offices of the Imperial Head of State were used by Head of State Jagged Fel in 44 ABY, three years after the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. Fel was irked by beings who barged into his office without asking, as the offices alternatively served as a place where he worked,[1] kept updated on the news,[2] and relaxed from the pressures of politics. He had a secretary in the outer offices who served as a greeter to visitors and notified him when people arrived to see him, and he received frequent visits from his fiancée, Jedi Knight Jaina Solo. It was during one such visit that Solo saw that their separate careers were getting in the way of their relationship, and she called off their engagement,[1] although they later became re-engaged. Fel's quarters then served as an intimate meeting area where he and Solo could escape from their troubles.[2]
