Old Soren was an old penal spaceport on the penal colony Ord Vaxal.

During the jailbreak 20 years prior to the Battle of Yavin, the entire spaceport was blasted to rubble by Old Republic ships in orbit to keep the inmates of Ord Vaxal's prisons from escaping. Afterward, the city of Tof Soren sprang up around the ruins of Old Soren, while the northern rim eventually became the location of the Oubliette shadowport.
