Oodora was a senator who represented the planet Manaan[1] for four consecutive terms, serving in the Galactic Senate for over twenty years in the decades before the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. During Oodora's tenure, the astromech droid T7-O1 served the Senator as a legislation analyst, but Oodora promoted T7-O1 after the droid's first year and the astromech soon became the Senator's campaign manager and speech writer.[2] After Oodora retired, T7-O1 eventually passed into the ownership of the slaver Shafu.[3]

Oodora was first mentioned in the Holonet section of the official site for Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare and LucasArts in 2011, in the entry for the Jedi Knight companion character T7-O1.[1] T7's experience with Oodora is expanded on in the companion conversation "The Traitor," though the Senator's species and gender are not specified.[2]
