An orbital security station monitored skylane traffic on and off worlds during the era of the Galactic Republic. They were stationed on worlds including Coruscant, the Republic's capital world, and Corellia. People were employed to operate the stations, Coruscant Security sponsored the ones orbiting that world. The Coruscanti workers also reported to Coruscant Control.
