Oris was an asteroid with a 2,950-kilometer diameter from outside of the Goroth system composed of nickel and iron. It was captured in the closest orbit of Goroth Alpha. It had a local day of 31 standard hours at the time of the Galactic Civil War, but was observed to be growing shorter. The planetoid's name was Gorothite for "birth of dawn."
