Orland was a stormtrooper who served the faction of the Galactic Empire loyal to the usurper Emperor Darth Krayt and member of the 407th Stormtrooper Division's Joker Squad. Orland was part of the Imperial mission led by Darth Stryfe sent to Ossus in search of refugee Jedi. By this time Orland held the rank of private.[1]

Due to the character of Orland only being seen in their full stormtrooper armor, including helmet, it is unknown if Orland is in fact a Human or another species. Also, for the same reason, it is unknown at this time if Orland is a male or female, since by this time females were allowed to serve in the Stormtrooper corps.[2]
