- "I wonder how many they'll send. We've got so much firepower in here, these walls are ray-shielded. They can't take this fort. It'll probably be, uh, fifty Jedi. They'll need at least that many. Huh, maybe a hundred Jedi! They'll never take this base with less. Ha, they'll need an army of Jedi!"
- ―General Oro Dassyne
A fort, maintained by the Confederate General Oro Dassyne, was built on the Corporate Alliance world Bomis Koori IV during the Clone Wars.

History
Edit
During the Clone Wars, a fort was built on the Corporate Alliance world Bomis Koori IV. Supervised by the Confederate General Oro Dassyne, Dassyne believed the fort itself was invincible, as well as it would take an army of Jedi to capture it. The fort's walls were protected by a ray shield, while the facility's other defense relied on extensive firepower. In 20 BBY, Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker initiated an attack on Bomis Koori IV and infiltrated Dassyne's base. Despite the fact Dassyne' believed his fort was Jedi resistant, both Kenobi and Skywalker deactivated the ray shield protecting the fort, making it vulnerable to the Republic's orbital bombardment of the world and direct strikes from ground forces.
Behind the scenes

Oro Dassyne's fort on the planet Bomis Koori IV first appeared in Chapter 22 of the Star Wars: Clone Wars television series. The fort's background and role during the battle of Bomis Koori IV was later expanded in Oro Dassyne's Databank entry on StarWars.com.
