The Orthavan was a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser of the New Republic Defense Fleet and a sister ship of the Liberty.

HistoryEdit

During Thrawn's campaign against the New Republic, Orthavan served as General Garm Bel Iblis's flagship of the fifteen warships assigned to protect Qat Chrystac. The vessel also served as a temporary headquarters for Rogue Squadron.

Under the command of an unknown Mon Calamari captain, the Orthavan took heavy damage while exchanging fire with two Victory-class Star Destroyers during the Battle of Qat Chrystac. The timely arrival of the Cracken Flight Group and Bel Iblis's order of an A-wing Slash allowed for Orthavan to escape into hyperspace.
