Osted Wermis was an Imperial admiral and the commandant of Anaxes. He held out for many years before surrendering to the New Republic in 8 ABY. When Wermis surrendered to the New Republic, he also admitted that he was baffled as to why the Whelm absconded from Anaxes before their arrival, as well as the Whelm's destination.
