Otoh Jahai was a Gungan city on Naboo some 3000 years before the Invasion of Naboo. It was the site of an ancient Gungan temple.

During Boss Gallo's efforts to unite the Gungan villages and defeat Boss Rogoe in the War of the Gungan Tribes, Otoh Jahai was led by Boss Tenko.
The city had been at war with its neighbor, Otoh Langua, because Tenko believed they had stolen Otoh Jahai's sacred staff. When Gallo discovered the staff in the wilderness, Tenko renounced that war and joined forces with Gallo to fight Rogoe.
