History
Edit
The Naboo city of Otoh Sancture remained neutral through the War of the Gungan Tribes that ravaged all Gungans in 3,000 BBY,[1] and became a hub of trade and commerce, and gossip and spying. The city, located to the west of Lake Paonga, reaped the benefits of being a way-station and a go-between for all the Gungan tribes, and Boss Gallo's wealth grew.
But its vulnerability was its downfall as it was destroyed by Bursas sent by Boss Rogoe to kill Gallo, but Gallo had left for hunting during Sancture's holiday, the Sacred Feast. Marsune helped Gallo to rebuild a settlement on a different location, which served as Gallo's headquarters for the assault against Rogoe.[2]
Behind the scenes
Edit
Otoh Sancture appears in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and its 2002 expansion pack, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns. The city is destroyed during the game's first Gungan campaign mission, during a scripted event.
