The Outer Rim Imperial Fleet was an Imperial Navy fleet located in the Outer Rim in 0 ABY, shortly after the Battle of Yavin.

DescriptionEdit

It consisted of dozens of Imperial-class Star Destroyers and at least three Immobilizer 418 cruisers, the latter supplied by Imperial Drydock IV.^[1] The most powerful element of the fleet was Scourge Squadron: a task force of 24 Imperial-class Star Destroyers led by the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Reaper.^[2]

The Outer Rim fleet was led by the Grand Moff of Oversector Outer: Wilhuff Tarkin until 0 ABY and later Ardus Kaine.^[2]

HistoryEdit

The fleet was probably created from the 18th Sector Army, when the Greater Seswenna was reorganized in Oversector Outer.^[2]

The Outer Rim fleet fragmented when Grand Moff Kaine turned warlord and ordered Scourge Squadron to regroup in the New Territories to join the Pentastar Alignment. The disappareance of Scourge Squadron in Oversector Outer contributed to the quick progression of the New Republic fleet after the Battle of Endor.^[2]
