The Outer Rim Oreworks Company (or ORO) was a mining company.

The Outer Rim Oreworks Company gave extremely low pay and forced their works to live in the company houses which would take all of the money that they were able to make.
It ran a cortosis mine on Apatros in the Outer Rim Territories near the end of the New Sith Wars. Before he became the Sith Lord Darth Bane, Dessel worked for the company as a cortosis miner.
In 532 BBY ORO colonized Lamaredd, and 527 BBY, it colonized Engebo V (taking many Mon Calamari and Quarren to the world as laborers). It was still in existence as of 30 BBY, when it abandoned Engebo.[source?]
