Paddle cacti were a type of plant that was found on the planet of Lok. During the Galactic Civil War, Nym, the leader of the Lok Revenants, ordered Ran Machado to oversee the removal of the cacti from Nym's Stronghold.

Paddle cacti appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online-role playing game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
