Palo was a Human male born on Naboo several years before Padmé Amidala. They were members of the Legislative Youth Program together. He was the first romantic interest that Amidala had. However, due to the fact that he became interested in art, they went their separate ways, although he never fully got over her.

For a time after 0 BBY, he was living in Moenia, continuing his career as an artist.

In the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, Palo could be found at a gazebo in the city of Moenia on Naboo at the coordinates (4765, -4797). He gave three completable missions, but the text for them was bugged. He was eventually removed from the game by its developers relatively early in the game's lifespan, likely as a result of its buggy nature.

Palo's name may be based on Apollo, the Greek god of young masculine beauty and patron god of the arts.
