The Palpatine Mine Network was the term for the vast array of space mines set up under the Galactic Empire by Emperor Palpatine. Following the Galactic Civil War, jack-of-all-trades Ebenn Q3 Baobab assisted in the dismantling of the Network.

After an accident of unknown origin, Baobab was one of only two survivors found aboard the minesweeping craft Rodrigo Andrera.
