HistoryEdit

Parkas were utilized during the Clone Wars by the non-clone trooper personnel whenever stationed on frigid planets. Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker wore them while investigating Glid Station on Orto Plutonia, a Republic outpost that had failed to check in.^[1] Captain Kendall Ozzel and Jedi Masters Tauht, Koon and Fisto all wore parkas during the Battle of Khorm.^[2]

Lando Calrissian wore a electrically heated parka on Rafa V in 5 BBY. It had a thermoknob that could be used to adjust the heating setting. The maximum setting was Emergency Full.^[3]

Almost all of the Rebel Alliance personnel stationed at Echo Base on Hoth wore some form of parka to protect themselves from the harsh icy conditions of that world.^[4]
