Parrlay was a large Naboo city that was one of the Trade Federation's first targets when they invaded Naboo. The Trade Federation attacked this city in 32 BBY because it housed a Transmitter, which could reveal the Federation's blockade on Naboo.
History
In 32 BBY, Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray gave battle droid Commander OOM-9 instructions to destroy the transmitters in the Naboo cities of Vis, New Centrif and Parrlay. Teckla Minnau was born in Parrlay.
After OOM-9 succeeded in destroying Vis and New Centrif's transmitters, Parrlay became the next target. Various units of Royal Security Troopers guarded the city outskirts, although they ended up wiped out by the advance. The droid forces under OOM-9 attacked the city after gaining reinforcements, and the inhabitants of Parrlay met with death or capture.
Behind the scenes
Parrlay appeared in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. The campaign was later included in its 2002 expansion pack. This article assumes Parrlay was the last target during the OOM-9 campaign mission Beachhead.
