- "This mountain is called Passvaal. [sic] It is a sacred place, designed to test all Jedi who come here."
- ―Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a
Mount Pasvaal was a hollow[2] mountain located on the river moon Al'doleem in the Mid Rim. A Jedi monastery was located on the summit of the mountain,[1] while the interior of the mountain itself was a labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, and temples. For thousands of years, the Jedi Order used Mount Pasvaal as a storehouse for artifacts, including countless holocrons.[2] With the Rise of the Galactic Empire, Pasvaal was emptied of artifacts and converted into a high-security military installation. Code named Pasvaal, the Empire exposed a side of the mountain's interior, and converted several chambers into large hangars which loomed over Am'balaar City.[3]
