Pat Welsh provided the voice of Boushh in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In 1982, she provided the voice of the title character in Steven Spielberg's classic, E.T. She was "discovered" by sound designer Ben Burtt, who heard her speaking in a camera shop and asked her to audition for the title role in "E.T.".
