The Pearl of Wisdom was a object of veneration for the Er'stacians of the planet Er'stacia. They believed that their ancient forebear, represented by a giant statue known as the Venerable One or the Megalith, held the Pearl of Wisdom in his single, clawed hand. When Jedi Master Mace Windu suggested splitting the statue in two to put a stop to a clan war, both rival clans agreed that such a solution would never work because both would want to possess the Pearl of Wisdom.^[1]
