[edit] Biography
A Verpine priest of the Sacred Way living in Tun Aduban on Aduba-3 was known only by this name. He was the head of the House of a Higher Power mission in town, and devoted his life to finding a few down-and-out souls on his backwater world and helping them to find the path to enlightenment.
Pera also maintained Spacer's Hill, a cemetery just outside of Tun Aduban.
[edit] Behind the scenes
"Pera" is probably inspired by the slang-use of "padre" to refer to a clergyman, or it may be a reference to the French "Père," which means "father" in French and may be used as a title for a priest.
A similar word in Arkanian language is perero.
