Perry King was a voice actor who portrayed Han Solo in the radio adaptation of Star Wars. He also auditioned for the same role in the original film, A New Hope.
In 1974, he appeared in two episodes of the television series Hawaii Five-O, and 1995, he appeared on Melrose Place as Kristin Davis' father. He also played the president of the United States in Roland Emmerich's 2004 disaster film The Day After Tomorrow.
