Peter M. Schweighofer is a writer, game designer and editor of roleplaying game materials and fiction. He has worked for several game companies, including West End Games, Last Unicorn Games, Pinnacle Entertainment Group and Wizards of the Coast.

In 1993, Schweighofer's professional association with Star Wars began when he joined West End Games. In his time at West End Games, Schweighofer established and edited the Star Wars Adventure Journal and wrote for a number of sourcebooks and game supplements for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. He also contributed to a number of other Star Wars publications, including some for Wizards of the Coast’s new Star Wars Roleplaying Game and is currently a freelance writer and editor living in Brandy Station, Virginia.
