The Besalisk Dexter Jettster enjoyed the taste of a lettuce variety called pink lettuce and served it in his restaurant on the planet of Coruscant before[1] the establishment, Dex's Diner, was destroyed during the first two years of the Galactic Empire's rule.[2] The lettuce was an ingredient in Jettster's Zeltros slider, a dish inspired by time he had spent on the eponymous planet.[1]

Pink lettuce was mentioned in a Hyperspace-exclusive release, "Dining at Dex's," which was written by Gregory Walker. The article showed an in-universe menu of Dex's Diner.[1]
