Pittin

Pittins were small creatures commonly domesticated and used as pest-catching predators in households where droid pest-removal units were impractical. They came in a variety of colors.

The original homeworld of the pittin was unknown, though they were tamed on many worlds, including Alderaan. Tia Organa kept pittins as pets, four in all; they were named Taffy, Winkie, Fluffy, and "All Terrain Attack Vehicle", the last named by Leia Organa. The pittins were presumed dead in the destruction of Alderaan.

Pittins were also found on Belsavis where they were known to eat amphibians and myrmins.
