The Plasma cannon (or Pulse cannon) was a type of weapon that fired plasma balls at enemy vehicles or starships, causing massive electrical disturbances that disabled the target for a time. An example of a plasma cannon was a M-68 planetary magnapulse cannon used by Galactic Empire. Consortium space stations and Aggressor-class Star Destroyers used by the Zann Consortium were also equipped with plasma cannons.
