A plasma rocket was a small and lethal explosive designed for use with personal weapon systems. This wrist rocket was designed to explode in a roiling ball of super-heated gas on impact, burning everything in the immediate area. The bounty hunter Mira was known to use this type of weapon while she traveled with the Jedi Exile.
