When Mace Windu called out for all available Jedi to accompany him to Geonosis to help Obi-Wan Kenobi & his Padawan Anakin Skywalker, he travelled to Geonosis and wielded it against the Separatist Droid Army.

Koon continued to wield it as he became a Jedi General during the Clone Wars, until his death during Order 66.
