This Kel Dor male was a Jedi Knight serving the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the final years of the Republic Classic era. From a lineage of powerful Force-users, Koon was the uncle of Jedi Master Plo Koon.

BiographyEdit

Discovered to be Force-sensitive at infancy on his homeworld, Koon was given to the Jedi Order for training like many of his family before him. Trained to the rank of Jedi Knight, Koon was highly respected within the Order for his great service to the galaxy. His nephew, Plo Koon and another member of his family, Sha Koon were amongst the last of the family's contributions to the Jedi Order before its disbandment in 19 BBY with the rise of the Galactic Empire and the return of the Dark Lords of the Sith.^[1]

LegacyEdit

After Jedi Plo Koon's use of Electric Judgment on a mission to Esseles, Koon asked the Jedi High Council not to take his uncle's reputation into consideration during their deliberations on his use of the forbidden technique.^[2]
