Ploo IV was a moon that orbited the gas giant world of Ploo. The moon's surface consisted mostly of vast oceans, marshlands, and floating cities that were connected by vast tubes that were situated beneath the surface of the water.

The natives of Ploo IV, the Fluggrians, were constantly at war with the Glymphids, inhabitants of the nearby moon of Ploo II.

The podracer Kam Nale was from Ploo IV. He raced in the Boonta Eve Classic.

Behind the scenesEdit

Star Wars Kids Magazine incorectly describe Ploo IV and Plooriod IV as the same world. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia and The Essential Atlas have clearly established that the Plooriod and Ploo system are two different star systems.
