The Ploven were aquatic sentients native to the planet of Gra Ploven,[2] referred to by some Imperial personnel as "little finbacks". They were subjugated by the Empire, but when they failed to make their assessed contributions to the Imperial war effort, the Star Destroyer Forger used its laser cannons to boil Gra Ploven's oceans, killing over two hundred thousand Ploven.[1]
