Characteristics
Edit
Sebulba's Podracer featured two Collar Pondrat Plug-F engines arrayed in a split-X configuration. The frontal split-X radiators utilized a ram-air intake system to ensure effective operation of the racer's huge turbines. Although illegal, the engines were fueled by tradium power fluid pressurized with quold runium, activated with ionized injectrine, to give the pod an extra speed boost. The estimated maximum speed is 829 km/h and had a maximum altitude of 85 meters.
History
Edit

Sebulba piloted the huge Plug-F Mammoth on many tracks throughout the galaxy, cheating his way to be the best of the best. Sebulba always brought his famous orange Mammoth to the sands of Tatooine to attend the Boonta Eve Classic. With his podracer, he was always a favorite to win in the Boonta, due to his brutal and competitive edge. He always won, but not because of speed. The Mammoth did not have the highest top speed of podracers. With a top speed of 829 km/h, the podracer's top speed was dwarfed by Anakin Skywalker's podracer's top speed of 941 km/h, the fastest podracer known. Compared to most racers with speeds of 700-800 k/h, the racer was still very fast, behind the Scatalpen, the BT310, and Anakin's podracer.
Sebulba's dependance was not on speed, but cheating. The Mammoth had a high resistance to damage, much to Sebulba's advantage. Not only was the large, long, bright orange hued podracer able to intimidate the most fearless racer, it was durable enough to bunk podracers off of the track and into incoming obstacles with a small tug of its reins, without taking any damage. This was shown when Sebulba smashed Mawhonic's podracer into a wall in the Boonta, destroying it. Sebulba had other ways of cheating. He made many modifications to his podracer. The podracer, and controls in his cockpit was designed to fit especially for the Dug, so if any daring racer tried to sabotage the pod, they would not know exactly what they were doing. Sebulba knew how to break off parts of his pod without damaging it. During the Boonta, he broke off a piece of iron from his cockpit, throwing it behind him and into one of Mars Guo's engines, destroying the pod.
If that was not enough to keep himself in the lead, Sebulba modified his podracer in even more lethal ways. If any race official managed to get a close look at the racer, it would be deemed illegal. However, when officials do demand inspections, his podracer always looks clean. In an effort not to get caught for murderous cheating, Sebulba always removes his illegal systems and weaponry from his pod before an inspection, then equips them afterward. At one point, the podracer was designed to shoot nails into opponents, and also had a buzz saw. Later, Sebulba replaced the nail shooter and buzz saw, installing a custom, illegal flame emitter on the side of one engine, ready to roast any competitor who came too near. Clegg Holdfast was one such daring pilot, who had his Podracer engines ignited during the Boonta Eve Classic, sending the Nosaurian crashing into the desert flats.

That high-stakes race saw Sebulba engage in a perilous face-off with Anakin Skywalker who flew a custom Radon-Ulzer racer. Though Sebulba sabotaged the slave boy's pod, Skywalker managed catch up to his rival, side by side. Sebulba attempted to take advantage of his pod's size, and rammed the smaller pod continuously. After a few attempts to crush the smaller pod, Sebulba managed to lock his steelton cables with Skywalker's in Hutt Flats. Sebulba tried his hardest to pull his podracer away from Anakin's smaller engines, with no avail. Skywalker managed to break free by boosting his engines; Sebulba pulled one last tug of his reigns. The resulting forces ultimately detatched the Mammoths steelton cables from the cockpit, and sent both Split-X engines flying. The left engine was sent flying into a rock, went spinning, and then burst into three flaming pieces. His right engine flew opposite, hit the ground and exploded. His Split-X cockpit nose-dived into the desert, spinning and sliding around until it came to a stop, all with Sebulba still in the cockpit. He survived the crash without even a scratch, but the famous Mammoth met its demise.
Sebulba later replaced his ruined Podracer with the pod that won the Boonta: the racer belonging to Anakin Skywalker.
