Polarized Macrobinoculars were macrobinocular headwear used during the Clone Wars by ARC clone troopers. Worn over the helmet, they were attached via the lateral sides of the helmet near the temples and were detachable. They were used to magnify and enhance the field of vision of the wearer. They were generally worn by commanding officers to observe and scan the battlefield. They allowed the user to see clearly in extreme illumination and avoid the sun's glare. This presented an advantage over standard macrobinoculars during battles in the daytime. Notable users were commanders Gree, Bacara, Bly, and Cody.
