Polyp was a small, bald, green alien that worked at Skinker's salvage yard on the planet Feriae Junction.
Skinker once sent Polyp to locate a bounty hunter by the name of Beilert Valance with instructions to bring him back to Skinker’s salvage yard. Valance arrived and engaged in a blaster fight with Rebel Alliance hero, Luke Skywalker. Skinker and Polyp attempted to flee the carnage by hiding within the salvage yard repair shop behind two large, magnetically sealed doors. Valance blew the door apart with a palm weapon and Skinker and Polyp were both killed in the blast.
