Pom was a type of water plant that grew on Naboo and Ohma-D'un. It produced a odorous chemical that was necessary for Pom-hoppers to reproduce. The seeds of pom were snacks eaten by Gungan younglings. The roots of poms were ground into flour that was used to make holiday cookies.
