Major Potiphar Migg was a male Human and officious field agent in the Imperial Security Bureau on Coruscant. He was a tall man with brown skin and milky white eyes. His eyes were equipped with cybernetic ocular implants that manifested themselves as pinpoints of red light emanating from his pupils.

Migg was assigned the task of "verifying the loyalty" of all citizens on Coruscant, which he attempted to do by haphazardly and unexpectedly conducting inspections of various homes, businesses, starships, or even random citizens encountered on the street. He had ambitions to become a member of the Imperial Court and networked with low-ranked courtesans.

Though haughty and self-important, Migg was an able soldier, a crack shot with a blaster (aided by his implants), and able to track fleeing suspects with considerable tenacity.

Behind the scenesEdit

The name Potiphar likely originates in the Biblical book of Genesis, where it is the name of "an officer of the [Egyptian] Pharaoh and captain of the guard, an Egyptian." This position somewhat parallels Potiphar Migg's role in the Empire.
