A Power Piton was a climbing device consisting of a pair of boots and gauntlets.

Designed to have duel magnetic attraction/vibro projection functions, the device allowed the user to scale sheer surfaces with very little equipment. In magnetic mode, the function allowed the user to adhere to metal surfaces, and was best used when climbing buildings and other sentient made structures. In vibro setting, the function allowed the user to dig into soft materials, and was best used when scaling wood, duracrete, or other comparatively nonmetallic substances.
