Pral was a planet in the Jahilid Drift that was conquered by the Imperial forces under the command of General Bentilais san Sk'ar.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Pral was first mentioned in "Aliens in the Empire, Part 2: To a Traitor Go the Spoils," a 2007 Hyperspace article written by Abel G. Peña and Rich Handley.[3] Although the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia placed Pral within the Jahilid Drift, which was stated to be an Outer Rim Territories region,[2] the 2009 book The Essential Atlas placed the Pral system, and therefore Pral itself, in grid square L-21 as part of Wild Space instead.[4] Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, confirmed during the development of the The Essential Atlas Online Companion that the Wild Space localization prevails.[5]
