Corporal Prescott was an Imperial Death Star trooper and detention block guard serving on the first Death Star. He volunteered for his prison detail position, as he took sadistic pleasure in seeing Imperial justice enforced.

He was present when Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca rescued Princess Leia Organa from her prison cell. Prescott was killed when he charged against Han Solo but was hit in the chest by a stray bolt from one of the trio.

Prescott was played by Peter Diamond in A New Hope, and was credited only as Death Star trooper.
