Protobranch was the homeworld of the Bivall scientist Sionver Boll, who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.[1]
Behind the scenes
Protobranch was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends short story "Hondo Ohnaka's Not-So-Big Score", which was written by Jason Fry and published in Star Wars Insider 144 which was released in 2013. The world was confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
