Pterosaurs were flying reptiles native to the planet of Ammuud. They were carnivorous, feeding on other small reptiles and land mammals.

Pterosaurs were once used to compete in races sponsored by the royal families of Ammuud, and was one of the primary forms of entertainment on the planet. Afterward, the clans on Ammuud started wars between each other and this became infrequent.

Pterosaurs could also be found on the planet Mandalore.^[1]
