Pulas
The Pulas was a Sith artifact.
History
Edit
The Pulas was used during the Sith Wars and was wielded by various Sith over the years. However, it disappear around the time of the Seventh Battle of Ruusan when the Sith were wiped out. It was eventually hidden in the Almas Sith fortress on Almas and was recovered by a Jedi expedition that traveled into the fortress. It soon became clear that the Pulas could not be kept on Almas, as it was at risk of being captured by the Believers, a Sith cult that operated on the planet. Jedi Master Lanius Qel-Bertuk spoke to the Jedi Council about the crystal and they agreed that it should be sent to Coruscant. The first night that the crystal was kept in the Almas Academy, a group of Believers entered and tried to steal it, but their attempt failed. In order to make it difficult for them to find it, Lanius assembled a small fleet and a lot of boxes made from Mandalorian iron. He placed the Pulas in one box, that was placed on one ship, while the rest were there to serve as decoys. One of the ships was attacked by the Believers when it arrived on Coruscant, in the mistaken belief that it had the real Pulas on it, as dark side energy resonated from it. They fled with it in a speeder and headed for the Coruscant Underworld, with a group of spacers who had crewed one of the other ships in persuit. The thiefs eventually made their way to the Believer's hideout on Coruscant, where the spacers attacked them and recaptured box, which the cultists had been unable to open. They took it to the Jedi Temple and handed it over to Mace Windu, who revealed that it did not contain the Pulas, but instead a piece of Conkesta. The real Pulas presumably made it safely to the Jedi Temple.
Description
